The special features of OZONE
How long will the ozone need to disappear ?
In normal temperature, ozone has a half-life of half an hour, means that half of the ozone will decompose into oxygen every half hour, so in most cases, ozone will completely decompose in 3-6 hours.
But the rate of decomposition of ozone has also been affected by several factors:
- Ventilation：the better the ventilation, the faster the decomposition of ozone, so if can open the windows and door after turning off the UVC&Ozone bulb, will greatly accelerate the decomposition rate of ozone, will completely decompose in 30-60 minutes.
- Temperature: The higher the temperature, the faster the decomposition of ozone, so in winter, may need to wait more time.
- Lighting time of the bulb: The longer the UVC bulb is lit, the more ozone is produced and the longer it takes to wait.
